I'm hanging on by a thread with my Project Life commitments! You can see that by the lateness of this post as well as the poor quality of my photos. I took those late last night with my easiest yet not highest quality camera!
I had every intention of posting before bed last night but then my internet went out on me. I'm assuming since it was midnite somewhere, my ISP was doing some uprade work and it was down.
I took that as a sign that I should go to bed and worry about this tomorrow (now today). I will still link up at themomcreative.com but I will be way down on the list. Not the end of the world! There is always next week.
So this week, I was not feeling my creative mojo, as they say. I have not felt it for a few weeks, in fact. I think it is due to the disruption in my normal routine for the past three weeks - spring break, holidays, travel and guests in town. I'm not completing my weeks like I want but I am getting them done. I want to go back and finish up some inserts and include more memorabilia.
This week actually has an insert but it is so un-exciting that I did not include it in this post. And as you can see I still have not rectified how to include that vertical photo. My latest idea is to enlarge it and fill those two 3x4 pockets as well as the 4x6 pocket on the bottom. I'll find another location for that journaling card. Perhaps on the facing page instead of one of the filler cards.
Anyway, the good news is...
**I am fulfilling my committment to myself & I'm linking up at themomcreative.com
**I still have this give away going on from the Project Life celebratory blog hop on Friday! If you have not read that post, check it out for tons of inspiration & enter my fun give away! It ends Thursday night at midnite PST.
Have you all heard of the Project Lifers Facebook group? You should check it out, it is a lovely group of other Project Lifers!
Thanks for stopping by!
For me it's the nicer weather arriving that steals my creative mojo and makes me want to be out enjoying the sunshine...well, the little we've had this spring so far!! But anyway...I'm behind this week too...just posted in fact about my lack thereof on PL today!

I was also not feeling the creative mojo this week! Maybe there's something in the air ;) But I do love your week title card - that pattern is gorgeous!
Also, I have come to realize that not every layout is going to be one I'm super excited about, and the important thing was that I did one at all. Which is hard for my Type A self.
I like that you journal directly on the photo.

Thanks for your compliment on my title card. That was my one attempt at getting creative this week. I used a zigzag stamp that I made. Funny because I did three orange stripes in a row just so I didn't have to clean my stamp one more time. So, I'm glad despite my laziness, you liked it!

Perhaps this is the season for loss of creative mojo! Spring is in the air.

Hi Margie Just wanted to drop in and offer some words of encouragement. This is my first year doing Project Life, and l'm only now realising what a huge commitment it is. I've also found myself getting caught up in the need to make every layout overly creative, have it posted on my blog and linked at Mom Creative (sound familiar?). But you know, it's about why you want to do this project....and all the positive spin offs you get from reflecting, recording and appreciating your life. Hang in there, and by the way.....l think your layout has captured some great everyday moments.

Eventhough you didn't feel your creative mojo I think your PL pages are great.
I love your red details and love that you have journaled a lot. :)
Hope your mojo is coming back ... Well, I'm sure it does. :)

I think your spread still looks wonderful despite not feeling your mojo. I think we all get that way sometimes. I'm impressed you kept up with it! Those are usually the weeks I think, "Eh, I guess I'll post 2 next week." I like the idea of doing that cute vertical picture bigger in all 3 pockets. I've done that a few times, and I always love it.
