Sharing my take on last week's assignment in the Art of Composition photography class at Big Picture Classes. We were focusing on WHITE SPACE or NEGATIVE SPACE. Our midweek challenge was to make something look small by using a lot of negative space (top photo) and then make something look big by filling the frame.
I also added point of view to the equation. Looking down upon something makes it appear smaller than the viewer, looking up at something makes it appear larger.
