I experimented over the weekend and found I could achieve a very similar effect using a ziploc bag with the corner snipped off. My recommendation is to start with a small hole and if your batter doesn't come out smoothly, you can make your hole a little bigger until you find the perfect size. They turn out great! So fun! 

I'm giving all three of my boys their own Valentine's FLIP BOOK. It was a free download at YOU ARE MY FAVE. An adorable blog I've recently discovered. I sat up tonight before bed, binding one flip book using the Japanese book binding technique which was fun but not worth doing for the other two flip books. So I managed to "bind" those with one brad. The hardest part was poking a heavy duty needle through all that cardstock (all of my mini hole punches are still in storage). I even broke two needles in the process! 

It was so fun though trying out Japanese book binding. I plan to do it again soon. I've been feeling so crafty lately. I love it! More projects I'm going to have to share SOON!
