Waiting for a Beijing Breakfast on the Way to Preschool {Day 4 of 31 Days of Blogging}

Braden loved to stop by this cart on our walk to preschool in the mornings. I would allow him to stop once a week. The egg crepe-like thing was so hot, he only got to take 3 or 4 bites before arriving at school, but the ritual never got old. And what a baragain - less than $1 USD!

Sunrise at a Train Station in Rajasthan, India {Day 3 of 31 Days of Blogging} I took this photo from inside a train as we were pulling away from the station. I was trying to capture the sunrise. I wish I knew enough about editing photos to bring out the colors in the sky without it looking overly processed. But otherwise, I like this photo. I like the different stories it tells. I love the silhouettes and how they fit nicely in rectangles and I like the almost bright colors. It is India to me and holds a lot of good memories from our trip there last year. First Day of School 2011 in Beijing {Day 5 of 31 Days of Blogging} I thought this picture turned out pretty cool. I loved the silhouette of my son walking down the dimly lit hallway with the school's sign & building out the window. This was orientation day 2011.
