Chinese Canal Town in the Morning Fog {Day 6 of 31 Days of Blogging}

I may have posted this one before. It is my favorite photo from a weekend photography class I took. Well, maybe not my favorite photo from the weekend, but my favorite photo from the village we were trying to shoot. When we wandered outside the touristy area, I managed to get another photo that I like better.

This photo was taken at a Chinese canal town in the morning fog.

First Day of School 2011 in Beijing {Day 5 of 31 Days of Blogging} I thought this picture turned out pretty cool. I loved the silhouette of my son walking down the dimly lit hallway with the school's sign & building out the window. This was orientation day 2011.

Urban Life in China: Green Space at the Kindergarten {Day 7 of 31 Days of Blogging} Our youngest son attended his Kindergarten year (by American scheduling) at a bilingual/bicultural school in the center of China's capital city. We loved the school. The administration did a fantastic job, the teachers were caring and amazing and the school offered a caring, stimulating environment that fully embraced (in a very positive way) all cultures in a very positive way. This being no easy feat in the Capital city!! We speak from a little too much experience at how many interational schools (local as well as foreign run) fail miserably in all three of these areas. The one major weakness...
