It is time for another TAKE TWELVE Layout for Ella's Take 12 monthly challenge. I'm so happy to be a part of the Take Twelve team because I love this project. We are still not settled in a new home, so if it weren't for this monthly commitment, I would not have any layouts this summer at all!
All of my supplies are still en route, so I was lucky to have a pack of cardstock in my mom's closet for just such an occasion and a few supplies with my Project Life stuff - the only scrapbooking I plan to do until we are settled again in our own home.
Luckily, we have family to visit. The kids had a great time this month on the TWELFTH at my husband's parents house. It was around 109 degrees F, but they had fun cooling off in the pool.
As I typically like to do, I kept my layout streamlined and simple, keeping the focus on my photos. The yellow Basic Grey clip is attached to hidden journaling that can be read when the reader gives it a gentle tug.
If you are short on ideas, the Ella Publishing Template pack which is a companion to the Take Twelve Guided Inspiration Kit, is a great place to look. There are so many great layouts and sketches included. It is so easy to find a good design to fit your photos and the story you want to tell, especially when I am in a hurry.
Head on over to this post on the Ella Publishing blog to check out all the other great Take Twelve inspiration. And if you hurry, you can link up your TAKE TWELVE photos or layout to win a wonderful prize!!

For not having any of your supplies, this is such a gorgeous and clean looking layout. LOVE IT!! Good luck with adjusting and moving and getting your scrapping supplies sooner than later!
