This is the 17th post in a 31 Day series: Creative Inspiration. Check out all the posts here.
All this time making paper snowflakes led to my idea for these cupcakes. All I did was draw these basic snowflake shapes on a piece of paper and place a piece of wax paper over it. I melted some white chocolate chips, placed them in a ziploc bag with the corner snipped off and then traced over my pencil drawings.
When finished making all of the snowflakes, I placed them in the refrigerator to harden. Frosted each cupcake with blue icing, dipped them each in blue decorator sugar making sure each cupcake was fully covered and when the snowflakes were finished hardening, I topped each cupcake with one to three snowflakes. Aren't they pretty? You could even add decorative pearls at the ends of each snowflake line. OR you could add decorator sugar to the snowflakes before placing them in the refrigerator to dry.
So many possibilities.
