Hi everyone! Thanks for coming back to my blog for our monthly OLW Blog Hop! We are a group of students from Ali Edwards' One Little Word Class at Big Picture Classes. We have a hop on the first of every month to show off our class assignments for the month.
I have a list of all the participants at the bottom of this post in case you get lost along the way. Feel free to return to my blog and find your way.
MAY OLW ASSIGNMENT
This month I will be short and sweet. I am taking some time off so I am trying to post this just hours before I hop on a plane!
I plan to add a few more action items to this one. I like what I have so far, but I wanted to leave some room for more action items as they make sense to me. One thing that I still want more of in my life is the feeling of gratitude. I am coming to the realization that I need to be much more proactive about that than I have so far. Therefore, I think item #5 will be starting a summer gratitude journal. I'll see if I can't get my kids involved - if they are game. I think that would be really fun and simple.
Thanks for joining us this month. I encourage you to keep going through to the end of the hop as I am always amazed and inspired by each and every post. I love to read updates about how things are going with each student's word.

I agree about the gratitude. My family and I have been saying what we're thankful for each day when we sit down to dinner. It's sweet to hear what my girls (age 3 & 6) come up with.
Have a nice trip and thanks again for organizing the blog hop (and for my fun prize).

I agree on the gratitude aspect also. We have SO much to be thankful for and yet the busy-ness of life clouds that from us!

Great working goals~
I think getting out with my camera (and taking a friend helps), is one of the best things I ever did for my own abilities. I was part of a flicker group called "52 walks" and I held myself accountable to getting photos taken every week. Practice is key~
I love your other goals too. I am the mother of sons and it gets harder as they get older to get time with them.
Thanks for your encouragement in all of our blogging lives to have this challenge! :o)

These are great goals! I have a gratitude journal app on my iPhone which allows you to list your things, rate your day, add a photo and then gives you a quote...... I really should get back to using it ;)
Thanks for another fabulous blog hop and have a wonderful holiday.

We do that - note the best thing that has happened in the day during our meal together at night - have done it for years and it is so interesting to listening to the replies of my two children. Thanks Margie for organising these hops - without you I would have 'fallen off the wagon' a while ago xx

Great list Margie. I love your "YES!" for completed #2. And I love the emphasis on family. It seems like it's getting harder and harder to keep family time throughout the week as my kids get older. It's worth the effort! Thanks again for hosting :)
