Great photos, love to see all those people cycling, certainly something you would never see around where I live!
And that dinosaur looked mighty hungry, hope he managed to eat the whole bowlful!

There are still a lot of cycles here in Beijing, but the cars are rapidly taking over. In fact, its so bad you are only allowed a car by lottery! The pollution is horrible and so is the traffic. A bicycle is much more reliable and much less crowded than the subway. Plus its a great way to get a little extra exercise.

Thanks! Theres construction every where here - that photo is right out my living room window! The meal planning has been so great. I know exactly how you feel now - that was me the past couple of years. I just hope I can keep it up. Fingers crossed. Thanks for stopping by.

It's really cool to see some surroundings so different from my own - and yet life still goes on, wherever you are, doesn't it?

So true! My life is very urban. So different than any place Ive ever lived. High rises and huge roads full of traffic people every where. This project is so amazing for that reason. Im loving seeing the differences all over the world.

Loved seeing a day in a very different place from here. Is the woman in pic #4 running to get out of the way of the crazy lady on the bike taking pictures? lol You asked about the birds nesting near my door, every year some bird family comes to be in any hanging basket I put by the door. We also have two birdhouises that are inhabited very year the day we hang them :)

Love all the action shots out and about - so different from where I am!

I only wish that is why she was running. People in Beijing have no respect for the road or the rules. People are constantly walking leisurely in the bike lane or even setting up their food cart there selling food. It makes riding my son to school a daily adventure. Its totally normal, if not expected to drive down the wrong side of the road. I just wish I could do a better job of capturing the chaos on film.
What a treat having all of those birds hatch their babies in your yard.
