KITCHEN

The older boys' school is finally having their World Culture Day. It has been postponed twice. Once due to a neighborhood blackout so the school had no electricity or water. (Not sure how they justified not closing down the school, but then TIC. Ha!) The second reason was because several of the lower elementary classes were closed for a few cases of Hand Foot & Mouth disease.

I have spent most of the day in the kitchen making American favorites to share. Homemade cornbread, brownies & oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
