Simple Things & The View from Here

This is the third week I have participated in Rebecca's Simple Things challenge over at her blog. Once a week I will take a photo of a simple thing in my life that makes me smile.

This week the Simple Thing that makes me smile is my son's love of food. Xiao Long Bao is one of his local favorites. He was home from school due to a case of Hand Food Mouth disease in his class, so I took him next door to his favorite restaurant for one of his favorite snacks. I love how he sucks the juice right out of the dumplings.

Ooh, Now I want Xiao Long Bao. So does Vivi, who is currently sitting on my lap. She wonders why your son's face is all crumpled up. What I want is whatever is on that plate of chiles. Last comment: magnifiicent bokeh!!
