At the bottom of this post is the current participant list for the Mar 1 OLW Blog Hop updated Fri, Feb 24 (NOT FINAL until Feb 27). Please check for your name as well as check your link for accuracy (click on it to make sure it works – there are several that are not working – it is your responsibility to email me back with an address that works). You have 24 hours to email me back with any corrections so I can send the new list out to our participants in time.

We go live at 8 AM PST (West Coast United States). Please make sure you have published your post by this time so the person linked after you gets visitors too. If you are not going to be near your computer and don't know how to set up auto posting for your blog, please post EARLY and explain to your readers that the rest of the posts will go live at 8 AM PST. Thank you!

Sign ups for the Apr 1 OLW Blog Hop begin on March 1st. Don't forget to include "April 1 OLW Blog Hop" in the subject line of your email. If you don't include that, I may miss your email. Please include your blog ADDRESS (not just a link) & email address so that it is easy for me to copy and paste it on to the list. I am sorry that I have to have you do this each and every time but it prevents errors and makes it so much easier for me to put the list together.

REMINDER EMAIL LIST: Those of you who signed up to remain on the reminder email list, still need to sign up for the blog hop every month. This keeps the blog list accurate each month and prevents dead links during each blog hop. The reminder list was just my way to clear out any emails of alumni from last year who are no longer in the class or don't want to join in on the blog hops, etc. The reminder list is so I can email people mid month to remind them to sign up for the blog hop. If you sign up for the blog hop you are automatically on the reminder list now that we have started a new class.

PLEASE NOTE: When you send me an email to sign-up, I do my best to respond, but I don't always get around to it. If you are worried about your spot on the list, feel free to email me a follow-up email to ask and I will do my best to get back to you. However, if you have not hear back from me by early in the last week of the month, EMAIL me again, to make sure I didn't miss you. I never mind multiple emails. It helps me a lot!

We all love visitors and especially comments so try to leave comments at as many blogs as you can! Also, if your time is limited and you can't visit all the blogs at first, consider starting from the end or in the middle or hop around so we all get visitors.

OLW Blog Hop Guidelines

1) List "OLW Blog Hop" some where in the title of your post. Please make your post as easy to find on your blog as possible. If something out of your control happens and you need to post late, just get your post up ASAP so the person after you gets visitors as well. Things happen, so don't stress. This is fun!

2) Link up to the person below you on the participant list. (I will send you the list of blog participants a few days before we go live.) If you are the last person on the list, please link back to me at http://xnomads.typepad.com.

3) Your post should go live by 8 AM PST. If you need to post earlier than that, let your readers know that the other blogs won't be live until 8 AM PST.

4) Include at least ONE photo & ONE paragraph related to your OLW project for the month (more is wonderful). Completed projects are wonderful but not necessary. Just check in and let us know how things are going with your word.
5) Include a list of all other blog participants at the end of your post (I will send this out a day or two before the blog hop), so readers can easily find all participants.

Other suggestions:

6) Post your project in the gallery at BPC.
7) Comment on others' blog posts as soon as you can. (Due to the huge time difference for me and my slow internet connection here in China, it usually takes me 2 to 3 days before I can comment/visit everyone's blogs especially because the hop goes live right when I am heading off to bed!)
8) Feel free to spread the word. Announce it on your blog, tweet about it, post on BPC message boards, FB, etc. Whatever you want to do. Of course, doing this will get more visitors to the hop. It is not required, but feel free, if you want!
9) You are welcome to include a give-a-way on your blog during the hop but it is not required.

10) Email me with any questions.
