After week one of my goals, I did great!
** go to yoga twice (or more) - DONE! 2x Mon and Thurs
** cardio exercise 5 times YES! Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sun
** run 1 mile one time (or more) & take a photo of my destination - YES! 3 miles took a photo + 2 one hour brisk walks also took photos.
** try one new recipe (Cabbage salad in this month's O magazine) - DONE! In fact, I tried four+ new recipes. Warm cabbage salad; acorn squash with sage & ricotta cheese; kale, sesame & brussels sprouts salad; cauliflower cake [all from O Magazine] + new recipes for cheesecake, sloppy joes & chili
** finish designing/planning my 30 cupcakes & finalize the dates of the 30 consecutive days of FUN cupcake designs - this I did not do. I have several of them designed - 15ish but I am still not convinced of when I should begin this challenge. I am deciding how I want to tackle it.
** set up my 2013 Project Life album and complete my first week - DONE! I am so excited. This is the first time I have ever done this as soon as the week was over. Previous to this year, I was always living in China and I could not get my photos printed so easily nor could I get the needed supplies when I wanted them. I was often working off old kits and piecing things together.
** blog about my 2012 Project Life progress on Sunday - DONE! Go here.
** Go to the Post Office and mail "the package" (I hate the PO, so I have to put it as one of my goals or it won't get done!) - I went but our branch was closed on Saturday! Of course I waited until the last minute. Packages are all ready to go.
** Work on 8th Birthday Party fast approaching - yes! Many decisions have been made and projects started. It is a work in progress.

I love this quote, posted by a friend on FB. I hope you'll enjoy it too.
Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you!
